Jeremy Rudd
Deputy Assistant Secretary for Macroeconomic Analysis

Jeremy Rudd is the Deputy Assistant Secretary (Macroeconomic Analysis) in the Office of Economic Policy at the Department of the Treasury.  His appointment began in May 2007.

Mr. Rudd is responsible for analyzing and forecasting current macroeconomic developments.  He is on leave from the Federal Reserve Board, where he was a senior economist in the Division of Research and Statistics.  Prior to his coming to the Board, he worked as an economist at the Treasury Department and the Council of Economic Advisers.  His research interests include inflation and price measurement, consumption, and monetary policy.

Mr. Rudd received his A.B. in Economics from Harvard University, and his Ph.D. in Economics from Princeton University.  He lives in Maryland with his wife.
